Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Darren has resided in a variety of places around the globe including Montreal, England, Vancouver and Nanoose Bay. With a Masters Degree in Education, Darren speaks English, French and is dedicated to his Duolingo Spanish lessons. You may be surprised to know that at one point in his life Darren worked for Greenpeace.
A nomad at heart who always has his passport ready for the next adventure, it’s no wonder his favourites have an international flair – favourite food – Greek; favourite movies - Under the Tuscan Sun, Out of Africa and Love Actually. He is constantly thankful for his friends, family, his health and being Canadian.
Always friendly, sincere, optimistic and generous in spirit, Darren loves his role at Luxe Home Interiors. He says that “without question” his favourite aspect of working at Luxe is the rapport he has with staff, customers and business partners. He truly values these relationships. Darren is a natural at working with people and bringing inspiration into their lives.
The ‘vibe’ and energy of the downtown community are what excites Darren the most about the move to our new Yates Street location. The exposed brick walls are a perfect fit for his love of eclectic and industrial designs.
