Three words that best describe Scott are optimistic, grateful and determined. When he’s not guiding Luxe from the background Scott is usually exercising. Since he is a self-described chocoholic, it’s a good thing he likes exercising so much. Although he has lived on the west coast for his entire life Scott feels very fortunate to have explored many parts of globe including Europe, Australia, China, South Africa and South America.
He is inspired by minimalist contemporary designs with pops of bright, playful colour. The best part of his workday is being creative with new marketing initiatives and the constant inspiration his fellow team members provide as they laugh and interact with clients. The forests, parks and ocean of greater Victoria keep Scott grounded and he feels most grateful for his family, friends and his health.
You may be surprised to know that Scott was a special education teacher before joining the team at Luxe Home Interiors and at one point his life he had a full head of dark curly hair! Weren’t the 80’s great!? He was inspired to enter the world of furniture retail because he enjoys beautiful homes and believes that the success of any organization, be it a classroom, a school or business is based on strong trusting relationships.
