Our Story
Relationships, service, quality and making a difference is at the centre of the Luxe Home Interiors story.
Unwavering Beliefs
At Luxe we believe in shopping local and the beautiful human connections that happen with in-person shopping. We believe in revitalizing the dying art of exceptional customer service. We believe in curating an inspiring shopping experience where customers can touch, see and feel great treasures that they cannot find anywhere else. We believe in quality. We believe in integrity. We believe in laughter, fun and long lasting relationships. We believe in supporting our community and preserving our beautiful planet. We believe that family, friends, health and love are more important than anything – even furniture, sorry, but it’s true.
Once Upon a Time
Luxe Home Interiors and our predecessor, Norwalk Furniture, have been serving Vancouver Island since 1995. From the beginning our core business has always been driven by our talented interior designers who provide friendly, unparalleled no pressure service. In 2009 we changed our name to Luxe Home Interiors and increased diversification of our styles and brands. Built on our solid beliefs of exceptional customer service, quality, integrity and inspiring design Luxe has successfully weathered significant threats over the years – from the global financial crisis of 2008, the European debt crisis of 2012 and now the Covid 19 pandemic.
Relationships, Community and Fun
Relationships are paramount at Luxe and we love to have a good time. Over the years we have hosted many parties and charity events in our showroom and beyond. Together, with our clients and business partners, we have raised over $100,000.00 for various community charities from the BC Breast Cancer Foundation, the Victoria Cancer Centre, Victoria Symphony, The Victoria Pride Society, Habitat for Humanity and the Mustard Seed Food Bank.
The Adventure Continues
On May 1st, 2021 Luxe Home Interiors embarked on a new adventure when we moved to 564 Yates Street in Victoria’s historic downtown core from our longtime home at the corner of Douglas and Hillside. We are excited to be joining the vibrant urban energy of downtown, making our home in the 160 year old heritage building that has been the venue of a silent movie theatre, a supply store for miners venturing to the Klondike, the offices of the local women’s temperance union and most recently a clothing store. Whether you have purchased one small accessory item, a sofa, or an entire room we thank you for your continued business and we look forward to seeing you at our new location. Onward …. Together.
