2025 Brand Royalty: Local Luxury, Elevated
The Brand Royalty Event took place for its second year in Victoria, and what a celebration it was! With an even greater turnout, expanded offerings, and more local collaborations, we were thrilled to once again be part of an event that brings together the best in luxury lifestyle, design, and hospitality—all right here in our beautiful city. Here is all that we loved and noticed from the event!
What Is ‘Luxury’?
To us, luxury isn’t about excess; it’s about quality, longevity, and thoughtfulness. It’s a timeless aesthetic that doesn’t chase trends, but instead invites you to slow down, savour the moment, and surround yourself with things that are beautifully made and built to last.
Brand Royalty reminded us that luxury in Victoria means something different: it’s more personal, conscious, and deeply rooted in community and quality.
Victoria, BC, has always had a charming, creative, and community-focused spirit. Brand Royalty isn’t just about luxury for luxury’s sake; it’s about highlighting the incredible quality and talent we have right here on Vancouver Island.
Events like this bring visibility to the thoughtful, sustainable, and truly stunning design work from local businesses and makers. They connect residents with retailers and professionals passionate about creating beauty, comfort, and excellence in everyday living.
A Community Coming Together
One of the standout features of this year’s Brand Royalty Event was the spirit of collaboration. From culinary masters to home furnishing experts, it was clear that this event is about community as much as it is about luxury.
Last year, Luxe and Thomas & Birch were the only home decor/design vendors offering seating vignettes, and while we loved being there, we definitely noticed the limited lounge spaces. This year, it was a completely different story! With Moe’s, Thomas and Birch, and Luxe all bringing stylish seating installations, the energy felt more welcoming, more connected, and far more social.
Another element that made this year stand out? The thoughtful layout. Instead of isolated zones, vendors were woven together to create immersive, cohesive experiences. Our Luxe living room vignette was placed right next to Clive’s and Waypoint Insurance, which gave the whole area a vibrant, social atmosphere. We could mingle, relax, and enjoy the festivities while chatting with guests and other vendors in a more natural, free-flowing way.
Highlights & Special Moments
This year also featured more interactive elements than ever before. From custom-engraved coasters to playful photo booths, the event wasn’t just about sampling luxurious drinks and bites. The 2025 Brand Royalty focused on also offering moments of creativity, memory-making, and intrigue. These little touches helped elevate the experience, giving guests more ways to engage and enjoy.
One of the biggest highlights for our team was having Avant-Garde Art at the event this year. We were so excited to visit their booth and connect with Caroline, but the booth was packed every time we stopped by! People were captivated entirely, discussing, admiring, and swooning over the stunning art collection on display.
Elaine, Amy, and Toban from our team were all in attendance, soaking in the ambiance and reconnecting with clients, collaborators, and friends. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came by to say hello—it truly made the day that much more special.
And of course, we’re always so happy to see the incredible teams from Page One Publishing in the mix. These publications continue to champion creativity and style in Victoria, and connecting with the people behind them is always a pleasure.
