A Bit About Our History
Luxe Home Interiors, formerly Norwalk Furniture, has been a cornerstone of Vancouver Island since 1995. From our inception, our focus has been on providing exceptional service through our talented interior designers. Despite challenges like the global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, Luxe has remained steadfast in its commitment to quality, integrity, and inspiring design.
May 1st is becoming a BIG DAY for Luxe. On May 1st, 2021, we moved to our current location at 564 Yates Street in Victoria’s historic downtown. We are so pleased with this move and what it has meant for immersing ourselves in the vibrant urban energy and inspiration of the heart of our beautiful city. Despite all the changes and moves over the years, we’ve always continued to uphold our legacy of excellence, which isn’t going to change now.
Meet The New Team
- Elaine Balkwill: With over two decades of experience at Luxe, Elaine is a true legend in the industry. As a seasoned member of our team, Elaine brings not only a wealth of experience but also boundless energy and enthusiasm to every project she undertakes. Elaine’s journey at Luxe has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to design trends. From attending industry events to scouring the globe for inspiration, she is always looking for new ideas and innovative solutions to elevate her designs.
- Janine Lange: Janine Lange brings a unique blend of artistic talent and architectural insight to Luxe Home Interiors Victoria. With over 8 years of experience at Luxe, Janine’s passion for design runs deep, fueled by her background in fine arts and commercial architectural photography. Her keen eye for architecture and design ensures that every space she touches exudes beauty and sophistication.
- Felipe Prado: Felipe may be one of the newer members of the Luxe team, but he has a wealth of insight and experience that continues to inspire and benefit our clients. As the owner of Del Prado Design Studio, Felipe brings a wealth of experience in design and furniture innovation. His commitment to pushing boundaries and finding innovative solutions will drive Luxe to new heights. With his leadership, we are excited to continue providing our clients with exceptional design solutions that elevate their spaces to new heights and provide them with EXACTLY what they want.
Where To Next
We plan to keep things running as usual for a while before we make any changes. While some changes are on the horizon, much of what you know and love about Luxe isn’t going anywhere! Luxe’s commitment to our community remains unwavering. We will continue to support local designers, artists, and community initiatives that are near and dear to our hearts.
